Differentis, a leading consultancy specialising in intelligent transformation and strategic advice, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of a new flagship event: DiffExpo25 – Dare to Be Different, taking place at Alton Towers Conference Centre on Tuesday 2 September 2025.
Designed as a forum for practitioners at the forefront of business and digital transformation, the one-day event brings together leaders from across industry, boasting over 130 years of collective experience, to explore how bold, people-led thinking can create real, long-term change.
The launch of DiffExpo25 follows a year of strategic transformation at Differentis itself, including a company-wide reorganisation, the achievement of multiple quality and security accreditations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials), and expanded work with public and private sector clients.
Dave King, Managing Director of Differentis, said: “This event is both a reflection and a response. We’ve spent 25 years helping organisations navigate change, and this year, we’ve undergone our own. DiffExpo25 is our way of sharing learning, opening up practical conversations, and creating space for new ideas to be explored.”
The event will feature keynote sessions, facilitated workshops and panel discussions covering topics including AI adoption, inclusive innovation, transformation culture, and systems thinking. The speaker line-up includes:
- Louise Robey – Change consultant, podcaster, and former BBC Transformation Director
- Dr Ashwin Mehta – AI strategist and founder of Mehtadology
- Nigel Kilpatrick – Author and workplace culture advocate, founder of Compassion in Business
- Jayne Manley – Director of Sunnyhill Consultants and former Chief Executive of Earth Trust
Organisers say the event aims to move away from theoretical transformation and towards real-world insight, creating dialogue between decision-makers across sectors facing fast-moving challenges.
“We’re not launching another expo for the sake of it,” King added. “This is about practical, honest, experience-led perspectives on how to do things differently and do them well.”
DiffExpo25 also comes as Dave King joins the board of national homelessness charity CEO Sleepout UK, reflecting a wider commitment from Differentis to socially conscious leadership and community impact.
